B i o g r a p h y

After completing a Ph.D. in Music Theory and Performance, I continued my music career at the Vilnius School of Performing Arts as a piano teacher, additionally working as an independent soloist and accompanist. Upon moving to the states, I continued teaching students in a school and private setting.

My goal as a teacher is to develop students' skills and confidence in piano and to share my passion for music with them. I believe the success of a student not only depends on the teacher's drive and motivation but the student's motivation and parent involvement as well; which is why I strive to make my lessons an enjoyable experience and work closely with parents to ensure students commit to diligent practice.

As an active member of the Illinois Music Teacher's Association, National Music Teacher's Association, and the Naperville Music Teacher's Association, my students have the opportunity to participate in numerous Recitals, Competitions, and Achievement in Music (AIM) Exams in which they can showcase their talents and skills. Opportunities to perform also include the Glorious Grands recital hosted by Salt Creek Music Teachers Association, Granquist Music Competition, ISMTA district piano competitions, among many others.

Seeing my students grow in their music abilities, from opening their first music book to performing on stage in front of an audience is the best part of my job!
